Oakfield Open Day

25th May 2016

OAKFIELD OPEN DAY - SUNDAY 29TH MAY 2016

Come along and join us to celebrate the third anniversary of our Good Life Project.

The Good Life Project was set up in 2013 in the grounds of Oakfield and offers training opportunities and practical placements in horticulture and animal care for anyone who is interested.

The Project is based in a rural setting over 2 acres and offers a chance to see and learn about growing food and caring for the animals.  It can be accessed by anyone who has an interest in developing their skills and groups are small and person centred.  One to one support is available for residents when needed, and anyone who takes part in horticulture and animal husbandry will receive a portfolio, with certificates for tasks completed and achievements attained.

We also have plans to develop the grounds of the new home at Yardley Hastings
