Full Time Care post - 37.5 hours per week

The carer will provide a wide range of support roles with and for residents and tenants with their day to day activities and personal care needs in line with care plans.  They will encourage residents and tenants to be as independent as is possible helping to identify and engage them in new activities both on and off site.  They will record all activities and observations and work with a team of dedicated colleagues in delivering the high standard of care for which Oakfield is recognized.  Early, late and weekend shifts are required for this role (based on a two week rota).  Some flexibility will be needed due to the nature of the role.

Assistant Cook Post - 30 hours per week (Easton Maudit)

This post will be working as part of the Oakfield Team providing healthy, wholesome meals (some of which are linked to specialist dietary needs).  Duties will consist of preparing and cooking nutritious meals to a high standard for up to 20 people; ensuring that all food hygiene and safety regulatiions are met and documented, maintaining the kitchen in a clean and tidy state at all times, checking stock deliveries, deputizing for the cook during periods of absence.

Salary Range for all posts

£7.05 - £8.94 per hour (with enhancements for bank holidays) depending on age, qualifications and completion of a probationary period.
