Full Time Care post - 37.5 hours per week

The carer will provide a wide range of support roles with and for residents and tenants with their day to day activities and personal care needs in line with care plans.  They will encourage residents and tenants to be as independent as is possible helping to identify and engage them in new activities both on and off site.  They will record all activities and observations and work with a team of dedicated colleagues in delivering the high standard of care for which Oakfield is recognized.  Early, late and weekend shifts are required for this role (based on a two week rota).  Some flexibility will be needed due to the nature of the role.

 

Part Time Weekend Care Post - 30 hours every other week (Easton Maudit and Yardley Hastings)

The carer will provide a wide range of support roles with and for residents and tenants with their day to day activities and personal care needs in line with care plans.  They will encourage residents and tenants to be as independent as is possible helping to identify and engage them in new activities both on and off site.  They will record all activities and observations and work with a team of dedicated colleagues in delivering the high standard of care for which Oakfield is recognized.

 

Kitchen Assistant full time Post - 30 to 37.5 hours

This individual should be a competent cook who can work alone as this is a shift based role working alongside the Oakfield Head Cook. This individual should have some experience of working with people with learning disabilities and will be expected to support residents in preparing simple meals as well as preparing the main meal in the evening, serving and tidying away afterwards.

Salary Range for all posts

£7.38 - £10.08 per hour (with enhancements for bank holidays) depending on age, qualifications and completion of a probationary period.
