An Employment and Training project was originally set up with the aim of enhancing the self worth, employment opportunities and the training prospects of the people we support by constantly assessing the learning, voluntary and workplace opportunities available within the local area and developing links to ensure that activity programmes were varied and structured according to individual needs.

However, this role has now been absorbed by the keyworkers assigned to each person who are being encouraged to be more actively involved in decision making, updating personal care plans and generally getting to know everything about individuals and what they would like to do with their lives.
